Tamed Summary 2018

Good heavens, it's been almost 3 years. Sorry it took so long for me to finish this story. I would have preferred to do it in the usual chapter style, but after the hood got corrupted for the umpteenth time, I got discouraged. I was not looking forward to building everything again and I just let the characters sit there, abandoned and almost forgotten.

This is a summary of the last chapters of this story. You can skip to your favorite characters to know their fate, BUT you may/may not miss something, since most of the characters are linked. What happened to one may have caused what happened to another and so on. With this summary, I hope to put the characters to a proper rest. Characters not mentioned are either dead, or their story has no direct link to the main characters.

I thank everyone that stayed with me throughout this journey. I have gained a lot of new friends, lost some in the literal sense. Know you are all in my heart even if we don't talk that much anymore. I will see you guys on the net and in my next story.

Love,
Jean-Marie

Allen – Bison - DiGorgio
Rosalie unexpectedly woke up out of her comatose state in the middle of the night. Feeling she was running out of time quicker than she had initially thought, she bewitched a pen to write down as much of her thoughts as she could. Everything she wanted to say to the twins before she went. Along with instructions on how to control the powers that would flow into them after she dies. The time-magic that the twins have was considered too great for them, so Rosalie had absorbed a large amount of it when they were younger. That amount was about to return to them when she died. To them and… Marina. Marina was the 3rd time witch in their family. **Julie represented the past, Jane the future and Marina the present --See High Witches' Council--** During the recording of her thoughts, Rosalie weakened more and her condition worsened. The twins knew she wasn't going to make it since the reaper had told them as much, but they panicked when Rosalie struggled to breath and called an ambulance. Rosalie was hospitalized and stabilized. Jane's new home became that hospital room; never leaving her side.

The hour of the great confrontation (LOL) between the vampires and the hunters came and the twins learned its location through Marina. Damian went to revenge the murder of his mother and sister. Julie went with him, pumped up with both her and her sister's powers through the mind link they had finally perfected. Reaching the battlefield they were frustrated by some sort of barrier that they could pass. Numerous witches and magic users stood around what appeared to be a magical dome that was drawn up by the witches' council. Their solution was to let the hunters and vampires fight it out without the use/help of magic. Damian flew into a fit of rage and started attacking the dome to no avail. He shifted his attention to the scene in it and using his elements manipulated the earth underneath the vampires and hunters' feet. Ripping it up into large fissures; digging holes and burying them.

Victoria of the witches' council appeared to Julie and told her that Jane needed them. She was in labor and there were complications. Julie could feel Jane's distress and believed her. Victoria told her to take Damian with her, 'cause they needed him to conceal the magic in the babies or the human world would know magic exists. Julie mentioned Jane's distress to Damian and that they needed to go. Already having lost his sister and mother, he couldn't lose Jane too. His revenge would have to wait.
After teleporting back home, they reached the hospital and were informed that Rosalie had passed on and that that was probably the reason Jane went into early labor. The babies were constricted and would need to be born via c-section. If they could convince Jane, because they couldn't get through to her. Julie told Damian and Jane what Victoria said and after convincing Jane to have the c-section, Damian called in the help of Francesca (Club-owner/Canceller). A quick teleportation from Belladonna Cove to the hospital's men's room and Francesca cancelled out the babies' magic, so they wouldn't have accidental magical outbursts at the birth and would seem human to the doctors.

Jane gave birth to twins Harper (boy) and Hailey Rose. Hailey had respiratory failure and died a few minutes after… Little did they know that Rosalie had not passed on with the reaper. Choosing instead to stay, despite repeated warnings of haunting her family later on. She had left her body and was with them all the way through the whole ordeal. When Hailey died, she wanted to spare Jane the hurt of losing a child and entered her body. The doctors were baffled by Hailey's return and called her a miracle baby.

Hailey Rose grew up a healthy kid with powers of her own that were a mix of her parents and Rosalie's.
She  was an exceptionally gifted witch and despite it being Rosalie's spirit inside of her, she grew up her own person… with the occasionally misplaced memories of a previously lived life.

The fight between the vampires and hunters ended with both races almost extinct. Damian considered his family's deaths avenged and devoted his life to Jane and their children. Julie is still in a relationship with Dante Pierce. She told him she was a witch once, but he freaked out and they had to erase his memory. She's fine with keeping her secret for now, but hopes she can break it to him in a less freaking-out way at some point in the future.

Having come into their full powers after Rosalie's death the twins, Jane and Julie, and Marina were contacted by the High Witches' Council, because they were the next generation of High Witches, to resume their duties. They all – refused – the position.

Raven told Marina to stay at the rosetta mansion. Julie and Damian were there, Raven was going… she had a really bad feeling something was going to happen. She took Binny and Chase and left for the battlefield. She arrived just in time to watch Angelica run her spear through Raven's heart. 'Nooooo' she screamed, running towards him. Binny on her tail. Raven killed Angelica, but he was done for. Marina was sobbing over him begging him not to leave her. He told her she had to go on living. She had to go on living, not for her, but for… His words cut off and he was gone. Binny tried to pry her away from him, but she held on. After all that they had been through… Now she was alone again. Marina was distraught. She finally figured out the dream she had with the tombstone. It wasn't her father's or brother's. It was Raven's.

For 3 months all she wanted to do was sit in that flower field next to his grave. She wasn't living, she was just alive. The only reason she ate was because Binny forced her to. It wasn't until Chase mentioned hearing an echo of a heartbeat whenever he was near her that she pepped up.  A trip to the doctor's office confirmed her pregnancy. She was the first ever vampire mate and now the first ever to bear a vampire's child. The pregnancy wasn't the easiest one, but she had to do everything she could to keep that part of Raven alive. They suspected the child to be a vampire as well, because she was rapidly losing weight. In her case it was lucky that a witch's pregnancy only lasted 3 months, or she would've dried out.

Marina went into labor in the same field she took Raven to on their horseback ride. The same field that now housed his tombstone.  She gave birth to a healthy baby boy she named Craven. Craven grew up normally and they wondered if he was fully human. They were proven wrong on his 7th birthday when he accidentally bit into his bottomlip while brushing his teeth; his fangs had come out. Vampiric urges started to kick in and even though he was able to eat human food, from that day on he had to hunt small animals in the woods to satisfy his blood thirst.

Craven is the first and only one of his kind. A half vampire, half human child that was born, not bitten.
Marina was contacted by the High Witches Council to take up her post as council member, but she refused. She wanted nothing to do with witchcraft, despite being born a witch. She was perfectly happy just being a mother to Craven.

Gibson – Tyson
The night Charlotte went to the vampire leader to deliver the declaration of war with Kat and Angelica, her mind played tricks on her. She was seeing things. It was when they had returned to Hunter's HQ that it was all cleared up. Chadd had followed them here. He waited until the bitchy hunter had left to make his presence known. Charlotte couldn't believe her eyes. Chadd, her brother wasn't dead. Instead he was one of the very things she hunted. The things she hunted to avenge HIS death! All this time he had led her to believe he was killed by vampires. Chadd tried to explain, but Charlotte wasn't having it. When he called her by her pet name 'Lotte' she shot him. Even Kat couldn't believe she did that.

Chadd explained anyway, just to keep her from fighting in the upcoming battle. He knew things; things about the vampire Calum that could lead to his baby sister's death and that was the last thing he wanted. He left all those years because he wanted to protect her. He couldn't let her die now… Charlotte still wasn't having it and told him she'd kill him if he showed his face again. Chadd showed his face every night since then. He was that determined. This made Charlotte rethink her purpose in all of it. She got into this profession to avenge his death. Now that he wasn't dead, she was kind of lost. This was the one thing she was best at, but to be honest, her resolve had changed. She wasn't going to fight something between Lillian and her lover. Especially now when all Lillian seemed to think about was her revenge. Charlotte's role in this was done. She told Kat she wasn't dying for some lover's spat and was leaving. She wanted Kat to come with her. Kat refused. Charlotte's resolve might have changed, but Kat's hadn't.

Charlotte left 2 days before the great confrontation (LOL). She met her brother Chadd at the bus depot for the last time. She told him she would move on with her life, as far away from here as possible. But that she was still a hunter. For her the brother she had, had been dead for too long to try again now. She'd turn her head the other way this last time. If he ever came in front of her again, she'd kill him. With those last words she boarded a greyhound to elsweyr (Skyrim plug –elsewhere-)

Katherine 'Kat' Tyson learned from Chadd that Calum was a very proud elite and would always take credit for his achievements. He didn't take credit for clearing out the Taihinde Clan of hunters. That it must've been the work of a rival hunter clan. Kat put 2 and 2 together and came to the conclusion that it must've been Lillian. She kept Kat alive just to be able to get her hands on the anti-vampire venom that the clan was famous for. Kat felt betrayed and saw Lillian for what she was. She'd do anything to get her way.
On the battlefield Kat searched endlessly for Lillian, but couldn't find her. Was she even there?
At some point Kat got distracted and was surrounded by 15 vampires. She met her end at a rabid low level vampire that ripped into her neck.

High Witches' Council
After Jane and Julie's visit the trio visited every possible outcome to ensure that the balance between good and evil and the non-magical world would remain. The only solution was to keep magic out of the battle and let the hunters and vampires cancel each other out. They drew up a magical barrier, a dome, to prevent any magic user to enter the battlefield. Their plan worked to a certain point. They hadn't taken into account Damian's power of the elements. When they realized that he could manipulate the earth from underneath the dome, the outcome of their plan was fast changing. He was disturbing the balance they had foreseen. He had to be removed. They sped up the time of Jane's pregnancy and sent her into labor. Her complications made Damian and Julie leave the battlefield, putting the outcome the council had predicted back on track.

When all was over, it was time for the council to retire and recruit the next council members. Born into the same family, they were to be the most powerful council members yet. Victoria, Mica and Karima appeared to Jane, Julie and Marina to inform them of their duties towards the magical community and that it was time to take their place in the council. To the astonishment of the Council, the three witches refused. This had never happened before and they were at a loss for words. With no new council members to relieve them of their duties, they had no choice but to stay in their post for another something-something years before the next members were ready. Were they even born yet?

Angelica was out for revenge of her own. The realization that she was just a pastime for Raven and the care he had shown for his new mate enraged her. She wouldn't rest until she killed him.
With that fire in her heart and eyes she entered the battlefield. The fight ensued and she disposed of numerous vampires before she spotted him. She saw red and charged at him. Her spear had been coated with an anti-vampire concoction. They fought for what seemed like a long time. She ultimately got the drop on Raven. Angelica drove her spear through his heart, the anti-vampire venom dripping into it. No vampire could heal from that, not even an elite. Raven spun around and drove the same spear through her as well, impaling them both on it. She smiled at him and whispered, 'At least she won't have you either' as her eyes clouded over.

Chase reunited with his sister and the two of them are closer than ever. Or at least as close as Lubinnia allows. She still hasn't been able to lift the binding spell she put on Chase, much to the later's annoyance. Lubinnia was ultimately forgiven by Marina and allowed to stay by her side. Meaning that Chase was there too. Chase never forgave himself for getting trapped in this spell by Binny, meaning that he couldn't protect Raven when he needed to. He vowed that for as long as he is able he'd take care of Raven's son Craven. The next generation of vampires. One not bitten, but born!

The hunters were beginning to suspect Lillian of being crazy when she talked to her dead sister over and over again. Was she crazy? And if so, what did it matter. She was finally getting revenge for her sister's murder. All the vampires were going to die. Even that Raven. Lost in her thoughts she didn't hear the commotion outside her door. Didn't hear the vampire alarm that was blaring. Not until her door opened and 15 hunters spilled in; thrown by the 2 vampire elites. Raven and Iden were standing in front of her, but what did she have to fear? She was immortal; they couldn't kill her. That was the last thought that went through her mind before she was knocked unconscious by Iden.

The foul smell woke her up and she held onto the bars to steady her up. Was she in a cell?
'You have nowhere to go, love' She turned around to find Iden sitting on a bench in the corner. He was reading a magazine. 'You really think locking me up will keep me from exacting my revenge on your brother?'
'Raven didn't kill your sister and the one that did is already dead. Calum. So you and I will just pass our time in here. Away from all of it'
'Where are we?'
'Abandoned town a few miles into the hills'
'These are sewers'
'Yes'
'You can't keep me here! I need food and water and…'
'And nothing, you're immortal. You won't die of hunger or thirst'
'You're right, so I'll just wait until you die and escape. There's no one around for miles, so you won't have anything…' Then it dawned on her.
'That's why you're here, love', Iden snarled.

Lillian was sentenced to a life worse than death. Being an immortal food source for a scorned vampire lover. No one knew where they were except for Raven and he was dead as well.

O'Connor
Iden and Raven ambushed Calum in his residence. The smuck asshole was sitting in his chair like a king. Having send all his pawns into battle for him, he was just waiting on the sidelines to claim whatever was left. His eyes almost popped out of his face when he saw both of his brothers in front of him instead of out there fighting. He wanted to use Val as protection against them (she has the power to remove sight temporarily ), but Iden had caught her first. He mentioned to Raven that she smelled different from the last time he met her. Turned out that Val was now officially mated to Calum. Raven reasoned with Calum and promised to let her go and forget everything if Calum take responsibility for his actions. Iden told him not to be so sure about that and told Calum to tell Raven the whole story. Calum refused.
Iden gave Val to Raven. Calum knew Iden was ruthless, but Raven was known as the Beast of New Orleans. She was more in danger in Raven's hands, so he spilled. He was the one that set those vampires on Raven's path. He ordered the hit that landed him on Marina's doorstep. They used one of his anti-vampire blades. Raven was about to let go of Val when Iden said, 'that's not all…'

Turns out Calum was the one that killed Camilla. Camilla voluntarily became mortal to be able to have children. The unhealed marks on her neck were Calum's. Raven had fed from her earlier and those marks had healed, but the venom of his saliva was still in her blood. That combined with another elite's saliva was a lethal dose. Lillian accused Raven, but it was Calum. Calum bit her because he wanted what was Raven's. He didn't know she'd die… but he also chose to keep silent when she did. Raven lost it. Before Calum had even finished his story he snapped Val's neck. 'NOOOooooooo,' Calum charged. But against 2 elite vampires? He didn't stand a chance. Iden suggested to bury him like their father, but Raven found the likelihood of someone digging him up far too high. They ripped him apart and burned the pieces. They had made the decision that if Lillian wanted a war, they'd clean up everything once and for all. Starting with Calum.

Next on the list was Lillian. She, like Calum, was also holed up in her headquarters. Ready to reap the benefits after all the pawns were done fighting for her. She didn't expect them to come looking for her here, but there was no fear in her eyes when she saw them. They might be hard to kill, but she was immortal. What did she have to fear? The plan they had for here was even worse. Iden and Raven knocked her out and dragged her down to an abandoned underground sewer system, where Iden had a cell build 3 months ago. Not being able to kill her, meant he wasn't gonna let her out of his sight. Raven locked his brother up inside with her and destroyed the lock. Iden was never planning to escape, but when she woke up, she'd want to at some point.

Raven left his brother's cell/tomb and headed for the battlefield to protect Julie and Damian, but they weren't there anymore. One who was still there was Angelica. They fought a long hard battle when Raven was struck through the heart with her anti-vampire spear. Raven turned around and impaled Angelica on the same spear. He looked into her eyes until they clouded over and removed the spear from his end.

Raven could feel the anti-venom spreading through his heart. He wasn't going to survive this. He could hear the faint calling of his name. Marina was there, together with Binny and Chase. Chase fought off surrounding hunters as Marina kneeled next to Raven begging Binny to heal him. He was beyond help.
Raven told Marina to go on with her life. Bad thing happen to good people, but that doesn't mean she should stop living. He specifically told her that she –had- to live on, if not for her sake… His words cut off and the last thing he heard was that little heartbeat he had come to love and then he was gone.

Chapter 35 - Driven

------------
Nudity
------------

...Miles and miles of vast, open ocean stretched out like a blanket... An undiscovered island in the middle of nowhere, leading the water deep into its dark center... a smaller stream, maneuvering through boulders the size of cars. It all pooled inside a cave-like area with moss covered banks and a hanging plant growing against the wall. It was covering something...

A tunnel... A tunnel ending in a large descending stone staircase covered by moss and algae; no doubt slippery. Soft light from a candle swinging in its holder on the wall illuminated the otherwise pitch black cave. No, not a cave... a tomb... A dark secluded tomb, for in the middle of the area stood a large stone sarcophagus with markings suggesting Irish heritage. Very old, but intact. No moss or algae had gathered here despite being so close to the stairs. A brown climbing plant adorning the neighboring wall, brown for the obvious lack of sunlight, gave the tomb an even more eerie appearance.

Some more lit candles were placed in small groups around the sarcophagus. Who had lit them? Did they light themselves? A faint scratching sound could be heard inside the sarcophagus, once again centering attention on it! Was something alive in there? Rats? Snakes? Any animal large enough to move the massive stone lid-- because move it did... Slowly, making that scraping stone on stone sound before falling to the side with a loud crack. Boney fingers slowly turned into fleshy ones as they gripped the sides of the sarcophagus followed by a leg swung over the side as the living corpse made its way down the stone steps. With each step it took, it rejuvenated some more into the body of a full grown naked man.

-Riverblossom Hills-

It wasn't his nakedness, nor his unseen face, but the snarl that escaped his lips that made Jane jump up. Damian felt her stir and sat up, rubbing a hand up and down her shoulder. 'Baby? What is it?''I don't know! It think I just had a premonition... There was this man, he wasn't wearing any clothes...''Sorry, babe, that was just me! I went to the bathroom a little while ago', Damian smiled.
'Did you come out of a crypt to do so?', Jane said not amused. 'No, Jane, I didn't mean to mean to upset you! What did you see?', he turned the dimmer behind her, lightening the room.

She shook her head at his apology and smiled letting him know she wasn't angry at him for trying to make light of the situation. 'There was a red-haired woman. I don't know for sure, but I think she was dead... There was a sudden pressure drop and the wind changed direction. The raven haired guy that was there noticed it too. Next thing I know I'm being dragged over miles of open ocean to a hidden cave. Turns out it was a tomb, not a cave and the last thing I saw was the naked guy getting out of the crypt''Did you see his face?', Damian inquired. Jane shook her head no, 'but I think he has black hair...'

'How so?'
'He was naked, Damian' Jane said, but still lifted her eyebrows in a 'how do you think I know' way. Damian closed his eyes and sighed, not sure he liked his girlfriend seeing the naked parts of other men. 'What do you think? Vampires?''I don't know any other being that comes out of crypts... maybe! I'll talk to my mother about it!', Damian shrugged. 'Did you know the red-head in that vision?'
'Never seen her before… And if that really was a vision and not a dream, we never will again'
'How accurate are your visions Jane?'
'Close to 97%, but I get most of them only a few minutes before it actually happens. The longest had been 2 hours'
So the girl was pretty much a goner if they didn't know her, Damian thought. He would need to consult his mother on the crypt and the naked guy as soon as possible. Maybe she even knew a spell to help Jane get her premonitions sooner. That way they could help rather than sit by and watch them happen.

Jane getting up distracted him from his thoughts. 'And where are you going?'
'Home... Maybe grams knows something too. You should talk to Jean. I don't know how long before that premonition becomes a reality', she answered and started picking up her scattered clothes from the floor. Damian got up and in a swift motion pulled her into his arms. Jane took a deep breath as the dizziness hit her. 'I don't want you to go!', he whispered into her neck. 'I know you don't', she whispered back, her voice a bit seductive. 'But I have to…'. 'This is important, I know, but I still don't want you to go…' Jane pinched him in his side and pulled out of his embrace. 'We'll be together again sooner than you think', she said laughing, turning her phone back on and instantly frowned at the train of messages that flooded in; they were all Julie's.

Where are you?- -Call me when you get this- -Jane, why is your phone off?- -This is important. Marina is in danger! – Jane went into panic mode and hastily put on the rest of her clothes. Damian frowned at her sudden haste. 'Where's the fire?'
'I have to go! It's Julie, she's sending me some weird messages about our cousin', Jane answered, picking up her bag from the armchair, 'Call me when you get home, yeah!' She stood on tiptoes and gave him a quick kiss on his nose, making him frown once more. No one had ever done that to him, but before he could even blink, she was out the door.

------------------------

Jane called a cab instead of taking the bus and was home in no time. It's as if Julie was on guard by one of the windows. She came down the stairs as soon as Jane walked through the door. 'Where were you? I left you like a dozen messages'. Jane opened her mouth to say something when a wave of nausea hit her and she bolted for the bathroom. Everything she ate the night before that hadn't digested yet came back out. Julie waited outside until she heard the toilet flush. 'Are you alright?'
'Yeah, I think it's the lasagna from yesterday', Jane muttered rinsing out her mouth, 'and the added cab ride… I got your messages a few minutes ago - what's the deal with Marina?'
'We could sit down and talk about it, or I can fill you in on the way over there. I called her too, but there is something with phones these days. Neither of you picked up. Long story short, it's Raven… he's a vampire!'

'What? Jules, that's not possib… crap!' That was all Jane said before disappearing into the bathroom again. 'Come on Jane, this is no time for you to be sick'
Rosalie had heard the chatter of the girls and the not so pleasant sounds in between and wheeled herself to the living room where she watched them. 'Here, let me…', Julie took Jane's hand and put her left on her stomach. 'Whatever illness here resides, let it be…'
'I wouldn't do that if I were you!', Rosalie said, coming into view. The twins watched her search for something in the fridge before she wheeled herself to where Jane stood. 'Here, eat this… Feel better?'
Jane nodded throwing away the lemon peel. It wasn't as sour as people let believe. Rosalie smiled at her, 'I always thought Julie would be the one to bless me first'

Julie frowned at her grandmother's words; not getting what she was saying. Jane was a bit quicker and stood there with a unsure face. 'I'm-I'm not…'
'Pregnant?!', Julie finally caught up, 'You're pregnant? Oh my, Jane that's that's… wait, what's that supposed to mean?' She eyed her grandmother for that 'first' comment. Rosalie ignored her and focused on Jane. 'I dreamt about a little girl last night with dark wavy hair, so I had a feeling', she explained and Jane subconsciously rubbed a hand over her stomach. 'It is a little too early for morning sickness considering the time you've been together but… I guess it happens'. Jane was quiet, listening to her grandmother. She didn't know what she was feeling. Was she happy? Yeah…; Afraid? Most definitely! And how would Damian feel about this? A child was nowhere near planning right now and with Marina…

'Marina…', she whispered, bringing Julie back to a more important situation. Julie had been smiling and staring at her stomach, but the smile disappeared as fast as it came. 'You can stay if you want!'
'What? No, don't start treating me like something breakable because I may or may not be pregnant. Let's go… and stop looking at my stomach!'

Lewis Clan
8.00 A.M.

This is SBN-News, I'm Rachel Adams.
Rather unsettling news for this early in the morning. The police uncovered a body in an abandoned warehouse close to Westport. Resources tell us that they received an anonymous call around 6 A.M. with only a location to go on. Police inspector Jackson along with several other officers went to the ominous location where the victim, a young woman, was found hanging from the ceiling. The scene clearly suggested a suicide, but upon further investigation showed signs of foul play.

According to local coroner, Jack Brimsby, the victim had already been dead before the hanging. Seems like the murderer tried to cover up his tracks by making it look like a suicide. With no ID or wallet on her, it has proven difficult to identify the victim and the police has resorted to searching the missing persons list to see if someone has reported her missing. All that has been let loose for recognition are the facts that the victim has red hair and was dressed in a green sweater and Jeans wearing calf-length boots. If anyone knows anything at all about the victim, anything that can lead to her identity and possibly that of her killer; please call your local police station.

This is the 7th murder within the area and although the method was different is believed to have been the work of the same serial-killer. The residents of the neighboring community Westport are…

Lillian muted the television and threw the remote on the desk. This was the second time they came in contact with the authorities, risking exposure. If the police uncovered Alex identity, it would lead them straight to her and she knew all too well how nosy the police could be. She pressed the intercom button to her assistant. 'Yes, Ms. Lewis?'
'Send Charlotte in…'.
'Yes, Ms. Lewis'
Lillian sighed for a moment and thought about what action to take in this matter, before pressing the button again. '…Kat as well. I won't be taking any calls and cancel my next appointment'
'…yes m'am…'

'Well, that looks messy!'
Lillian rubbed her forehead and leaned back in her chair. 'It is! A mess that I now have to clean up', she waved her hand towards the television.
'I still can't believe it was her… That she let a vampire manipulate her like that, and now she's dead'
'Alex was always weak. Insecure people usually are…', Lillian answered, 'Plus she had no cause to do this work. Every hunter in here is here because of something that happened to them directly or indirectly involving vampires, except for her… The fact that she had any kind of relationship with a vampire proved this wasn't for her'

'So, there was no hostility from her to him?'
'Like I said Cam, she wasn't fit for the job. According to Jordan, they seemed a normal couple. A hunter and a vampire? Normal', Lillian scoffed, 'seems absurd, yet nothing explains why he'd kill her…'
Camille walked around Lillian's chair and sat on the desk next to her. 'No, but what does it matter? Don't you see?! They used her to get info and then got rid of her. You said that she was weak, probably thought the vampire loved her, so she didn't hurt him, blah blah blah… He sees opportunity, he strikes. If she wasn't hostile towards him, he killed an innocent. And her being a hunter makes it a indirect… or direct attack on you', Cam whispered that last part and watched Lillian's reaction, 'This is what you've been waiting for sis 'cause'

Lillian perked up at those words. She had been thinking it too, but hearing it from a different mouth made the foundation seem far stronger. 'They crossed a line with Alex, Lilly… the time has come. We should press harder for those witches, before the vampires get to them'
The words echoed in Lillian's ears and she pressed the button again until she heard her assistant's voice.

'Vanessa, get me Angelica on the line'

A/N: Yes, Jane's powers are way off in this chapter. Intentionally of course.
I found this chapter a bit all over the place, so if you thought so too, sorry. You'd think with school vacations I'd have all the time and inspiration to write, not the case!

Chapter 28 - Unfinished Business

------------------------
Sorry for the long wait! As some of you know, my old computer has lived its life. Flat lined about a month ago... There I was with back-ups in hand, waiting for my new laptop to arrive; delayed, because of another problem I won't bore you with. After a week or 5 later, she's finally here and we can get back to business.

If this chapter seems a bit everywhere, forgive me... it wasn't at all flowing right. It gave me a headache and I was demotivated for almost a week before I made the decision to cut off a huge part. And then towards the end, I got tired of it and just wanted to get it DONE!
(lack of pictures says it all)
But enough of that... go read!

Jane jumped back when the door suddenly opened and she was once again greeted with the naked torso she got all up close and personal with just a day and a half ago. With her luck, of course she'd get the right room immediately.
'Hello Jane' Damian said smiling and leaned against the doorpost. Does he always dress like that, or un-dress like that when he's at home? Or are they simply his PJ's? Jane willed herself to keep her sight limited to just his face -as if that would help-
'How...' she cleared her throat to release more voice, 'How did you know it was me?'

'Your shadow was cast underneath the door. When no one knocked I got suspicious... but I did sneak a peek through that little hole, right there' he pointed at the door behind him. 'So I decided to save you the trouble of knocking since you were just about to' he laughed.
Jane noticed that when he laughed it reached his entire face, especially his eyes. They had a sparkle in them...
'Please, come in' he offered, stepping to the side to let her through. Jane was contemplating if that'd be a good idea and looked down the hall she came from. There was a bench at the end...
'I promise I won't bite...'
'...hard' he added watching her face as she walked passed him. It was enough to make her look up at him, that's for sure.

In contrast to the cold exterior of the motel, the room was decorated in brown and cream creating a very intimate setting. Intimate, now there's a word! Jane thought, taking another step inside. She only turned around at the sound of the door closing.
'Don't look at me like that'
'Like what?' Damian asked, still grinning.
'I don't know, like that! Like you've seen me naked'
If possible the grin on his face widened a few inches and he let his eyes wander. From her eyes to her waist then lower towards her feet. All the while he said nothing and just tipped his head to the side when he met her eyes again.
'Oh my God!' Jane exclaimed, 'You haven't h-have you?
Damian laughed at her distresses expression. 'Relax, no, I haven't'
'Oh' she breathed out, wondering how long she had been holding her breath. 'It's just Julie wouldn't tell me and... I'm glad nothing happened...'
'I didn't say nothing happened. Just that I didn't see you naked. Some things don't require the removal of clothes, you know'

Her face went completely white at those words. 'Damian, I'm serious! What happened two nights ago?'
'Well...' He moved away from the door and searched for something in his suitcase, '...it started with some dancing... then cuddling... kissing...'
He walked back to where she stood nailed to the floor, with something in his hand; he was looking at it.
'Rin made it sound worse than it actually was, so I called in a buddy from the club and he emailed me this, this morning. I don't think this screams of desperation. It certainly didn't feel that way... what do you think?' he said, turning the piece of paper around. It was a photo of the two of them latched onto each other with both lips and bodies.

'Oh no...' Jane whispered taking the picture with her free hand. Damian noticed she still held onto her briefcase, every now and then switching arms, when there was a perfectly able surface just behind her. He wondered if there was a special reason for that?
'Oh no...' she whispered again and again.
'I'm a regular at the club, so those booth-cams should've been turned off, but I'm kind of glad they weren't. That's a nice souvenir'
Jane didn't even hear him. 'How did this happen? I don't remember any of this- why do you remember?'

'I've been ordering that drink for a few years now Jane. Surely I've built up some resistance to its effects'
'The drink? Effects? Why would you need to build up resistance?' she knew the answer to her question before she even asked it, but it flew out anyway.
'So it can't be used to drug me. Kind of obvious no?'
'You DRUGGED me?' Jane didn't think hearing it out loud instead of just thinking it would upset her so much.
'No, Jane, I didn't! You ordered that drink all on your own remember. I had nothing to do with it' he held up his arms.
'Nothing to do w... You could've told me- you SHOULD'VE told me!' she flared, poking a finger in his chest. God, his chest was distracting even in her angry state. 'You don't care about other's feelings- about how I felt'
'Oh, I know what you felt, trust me'

'I said 'how' not 'what' you inconsiderate bastard' Jane lifted her hand, aiming for his face, but he caught it just as fast. The laughter gone from his face replaced by a deep frown.
'Inconsiderate, am I?'
Jane tried to pull her hand free from his grasp. Can you spell vice-grip?
'If I was as inconsiderate as you say, I would've slept with you that night. And with the fire you tackled me with it would've been a sheet-wrestle to remember. It's because I used my head that the only thing that happened is there on that picture'
Damian's eyes drilled a path through hers down to the very center of her being and even though she was still trying to free her hand, she couldn't look away.
'I'm glad I didn't tell you about the drink. We would've never known otherwise...'
'Known what?' Jane asked, her voice a bit squeaky.
He closed in the space between them, moving forward while slightly pulling her towards him. 'That you're as attracted to me as I am to you'

'I-I'm not attracted to you'
'Really?' Damian countered. Before Jane had a chance to register what was happening the briefcase she was clutching to prevent any rash actions from either her or him, was on the floor and she was underneath him on the bed.

'Damian!' she exclaimed, flailing her arms in front of her before he pinned them on the bed above her head.
'Darling Jane; Aphro disagrees with you on that... and so does your body. It's warmer now. Even your heart is beating faster...' he let his free hand caress the side of her body from her elbow to her waist and back up, '...just like that night'
Jane shook her head from side to side. 'I was drunk...'
'On desire, yes, nothing else. Aphrodite is a virgin cocktail'
'I-I was drunk...' Jane held on.
'Okay, fine, you were drunk! ...but you aren't now... what's to stop me this time?' he nuzzled her jaw line, taking in her sweet scent.
'I- have to go home a...'
Damian took possession of her lips to drown out her words. 'No, you don't...'

Her cheeks colored at the feel of her body betraying her. His kiss was passionate, rough and very demanding. If it weren't for air, she would find no mercy at all. 'Jean... prophecy' she managed before being attacked by his mouth once more.
'Hmm, let the elders handle it'
With one skilled hand, Damian removed her waist-belt and was now moving under her top across bare skin. He caressed her breasts through her bra.
Jane had to think of something to make him stop before this got out of hand... MORE out of hand... but it all felt so good, so right... Had it really been that long? she wondered.

She hissed when he pinched her nipple, but felt the after-effects of the sting way down in her pants. Damian smiled when her cheeks colored again; a deeper red this time. She was very responsive and in no time her nipples rose up in search of his hand. He removed his hand from under her top to tease the now visible nubs on the outside. Jane closed her eyes and gasped when he bit one; leaving a wet stain on her top. She wiggled her body and arms to try to free them. Not sure anymore if it was to push him away or to pull him closer...
Damian's  mouth left her right breast and travelled back up her neck, licking and nibbling along the way. Jane suddenly arched her back and let out a moan so loud it scared her.
'Yes, I remembered you liked that' Damian whispered, before sucking on the spot between her collarbone and neck again.

Jane bit her lip hard to keep from screaming it out. He was working her body like it had never been done before and she felt a shiver move down the side of her body. Jane was beside herself with the feel of it all. She purred softly and arched her back again. It was Damian's turn to moan now. Her movement had caused her thigh to rub against the front of his pajama pants. He became strangely aware of the bulge, begging to be freed. Readjusting himself to make it more bearable, he turned a bit to the side and refocused his attention on Jane.
She felt another shiver down the side of her body. Her eyes flew open when Damian fumbled with her jeans-belt, realizing the shiver was actually his hands moving down. She looked down and saw him remove her belt... with both hands. How long had her own been free? It didn't matter- she got up and tried stopping his hand from unbuttoning her jeans. 'Damian, no...'

He grabbed her hands and once more lifted them above her head. 'You only seem to relax and enjoy this when your hands are tied. That's a bit naughty Jane' he whispered against her lips. She wanted to protest, but he silenced her with his mouth again. Damian covered her entire body with his and Jane moaned inside his mouth. His bodyweight on top of hers was a wonderful crushing feeling, but it wasn't enough for Damian. He wanted to feel her, feel them together and let his hand move to her jeans again.
'I-I can't'
'If you keep telling yourself that, you'll start believing it one day Jane!' Damian teased her earlobe; pulling it between his teeth while successfully unbuttoning and unzipping her jeans. He played with the area just beneath her stomach before letting his hand slip inside her jeans. Oh dear, this was really happening... Quick Jane think of something or this will end in you screaming his name! But was that really a bad thing? She needed to think about this for a minute and his hand slipping into her pants was making it very hard to do so.
'Damian, I-I........I'm in my period'

Jane couldn't believe she actually said that. A feeling of disgust and nausea came over her at the very idea of it, had it been true... Ugh! It did work, though... he stopped dead in his tracks and lifted his head to look at her. She camouflaged her face to make what she said believable.
Damian frowned, waiting for her to say she was only kidding. She didn't and he felt his stomach turn a little. He started to withdraw his hand when he noticed how far down it already was- no feminine pad. He looked at her from the corner of his eyes and heard her gasp as his hand moved around the cramped space of her jeans to the sides of her underwear. She was bluffing and he, even given the grossness of the claim, was calling her out on her bluff; searching for tampon strings. And what a surprise... there were none!

Jane cowered under the weighted look Damian gave her. She never in all her years thought he'd check. 'I...uhm...'
'Yes, Jane' Damian said flatly, waiting for the next excuse.
She sighed the mother of all sighs and if her hands were free, she's throw them up for effect. 'I've run out of excuses'

'About time' he whispered.

Allen-Bison Residence

'Another pinch of Rosemary should do the trick' Rosalie said, chopping the leaves as fine as possible.
Jean was helping her make the potion. There wasn't that much she could do since it was Rosalie's potion and only Rosalie knew it's ingredients, but cutting up or weighing the ingredients and the occasional stirring in the pot was doable.
'I remember when we did this at Milly's house and the potion just blew up in her face!'
'Maleficent was as clumsy a witch ever. She blew up everything even a simple tea recipe... It did make for some laughs though' Rosalie cackled and added the Rosemary to the table-sized bubbling cauldron, 'That should do it'

Rosalie put an empty vial into the wooden holder just when Julie entered the kitchen. 'What are you guys doing? Planning on hexing anyone?' she giggled.
'Yes-' Rosalie whispered.
'You-' Jean whispered, pouring the liquid into the vial, 'for burning the soup'
'You're joking right?' Julie informed seeing neither of them smile, 'Right?! Grams?'
Jean looked at Rosalie and both burst out laughing.
'Oh, that's mean Grams! Seriously, reliving the old days with your friend by making fun of me is NOT cool! It's not even close to funny!'

'Sure it is! We're laughing aren't we?'
'Well, I'm not' Julie said sitting down next to Jean.
She bumped against the table in doing so, causing the vial-holder to shake and quite a lot of the liquid to spill. It moved in a stream over the table into the pot-plant on the other side.
'Julie!'
'Oh, dear, I am so sor---' Julie grabbed a towel and started mopping it off the table. 'Uhm, grams... Is it supposed to do that?'
Both Rosalie and Jean looked at her and then at the instantly, VERY much, dead plant. The potion was still foaming through the dirt. Jean sneaked a quick worried glance at Rosalie, who gave her a small head shake -new batch, she mouthed.
'Hmm, yes...' Rosalie answered Julie, 'See, a human can survive this cleaning process, while it's way too strong for plants. It's perfectly fine. Although, I'm sensing I put a bit too much Marshmallow root in it this time. Where's Jane? I believe she has the recipe book... Julie? Julie!'

Julie had been staring at the plant -RIP- thinking about what they have been digesting all this time without even knowing it. What if too much could kill them too?
'Julie!'
'W-what?'
'Jane...'
'Oh, she's not home. She's at... the... motel...' Julie said side-glancing at Jean, 'If it's about the book, I have it! It's in my room, I'll be just a minute!', she tried to fast-talk, but Jean stopped her on her way.
'What motel? Where I'm staying?'
'Yes...'
'What for?' Jean put a hand on her hip and leaned on the table.
'She and Damian had some unfinished business to take care of since Belladonna Cove... I don't know anything about it' Julie lied with crossed fingers behind her back.

'Unfinished business you say?' Jean then smiled, 'That sly dog of a son of mine... I'm sensing I should stay away for a while'
'With Jane? Don't get your hopes up. That girl's legs are practically glued together' Rosalie scuffed.
'Yeah, my sister is kinda stuck up when it comes to men...'
'Damian can help with that... He looks like my husband, God rest his soul, so if he's anything like his father he knows a thing or two' The smile left Jean's face and the frown returned, '...and talking about this is kind of uncomfortable'
'I agree!' Rosalie answered, looking like she had a bad taste in her mouth. Jane wasn't a kid, but the thought of her in a position like that was a bit unsettling. 'Julie, the book?'

'Oh, right. Excuse me' she said to Jean and moved to the stairs.
'Is your son a player or something?' Rosalie continued when they were alone.
'No, quite the contrary, but he does have charm... and he knows how to use it. The twins don't know about this, do they?' Jean dangled the empty vial in front of Rosalie after washing out the fatal contents. She was no simpleton and noticed when Rosalie lied to Julie about its purpose.
'The less people that know about this, the better. And I am also making the cleansing ones for them as a cover up, so...' Rosalie pointed at the green vials next to the wolfs bane, 'I don't know what messed up this batch though?'

'Maybe because I made it? Is the spell/potion that sensitive?'
'It could be, but I don't think it's likely... Maybe I just messed up the amount of something. I'll need the book to be sure'
'Okay, but just to be safe, I'll cut up the ingredients and you add them to the cauldron' Jean said, shoving the cauldron to Rosalie's side of the table.
'Btw, do you know how to make the cleansing potion?' Rosalie informed.
'Yeah, I make it for Rinka too... why?'
'I need to distract Julie. She'll want to stay and watch us make it, but the ingredients differ. Jane is adept at potion making. If Julie by chance mentions one of the other herbs to her, she'll ask questions. Perhaps you can help Julie refine her cutting techniques. She still needs improvement; there's another cutting board in the cupboard over the sink. That should take her mind off what I'm doing'

Roadside Motel

Jane moaned out loud when she finally found her release. So loud she had to cover her mouth as she rode out the waves of the third orgasm he'd spun her into. The skill he showed made her feel like it was her first time all over again... or maybe the long time without had something to do with it. She closed her eyes as she slowly descended back to earth, feeling all warm and fuzzy, but somewhere still a bit wanting.
Damian placed a kiss on her flat stomach before lying next to her. He enjoyed looking at her and right now she was more beautiful than ever. Her cheeks were red, her breathing was returning to normal and she was warm all over. The look of a just satisfied woman; and the fact that he was responsible, made him enjoy it even more. He wanted her to be as comfortable as possible, so he took his time with her.

'Are you okay?' he whispered, sliding a finger down her shoulder.
'Are you kidding me?' she looked up at him and he smiled, 'Wait, you can pillow-talk?'
'Yes, I have quite a lot of energy... but you know that by now... It usually takes a third or fourth go to get me exhausted or like most men incoherent'
'Really?'
'Really'
'You're very sure of yourself, you know' Jane said squinting her eyes.
'How so?'
'Most men would be offended by all the excuses I made to not let this happen'
'Then I guess you're lucky I'm not most men'
'And it just turned into cocky! If only for that reason I think I would enjoy seeing you incoherent'
'Would you now? That can be arranged you know...' Damian whispered, moving back on top of her.

Jane closed him in an embrace as he suckled on that little spot in her neck that drove her crazy. It had quickly become his favorite spot for exactly that reason. He murmured soft words against her skin making her squeal. His hand tickled and caressed its way up the inside of her thigh stopping just in front of her mount before resting on the bed next to her.
'Tease' she whispered in his ear and gave it a nibble.
'If we had more time I would go for that incoherent third, you know I would' Damian caressed the tiny red circle he left on her neck, 'You still haven't answered me... Are you okay? I wasn't exactly that gentle the sec...'
Jane silenced him by pressing her lips against his; keeping them occupied for another minute or so before he lifted his head to look at her. She played with the piercings in his left ear noticing them for the first time.
'I'm fine'

'Honestly, I haven't felt this alive since... well, a long time'
'...you're welcome...'
'Cocky' Jane chuckled and squirmed when he scraped his stubble beard against her skin. 'Apart from alive, I also feel a bit dirty'
'Dirty?' Damian frowned a bit. 'How so?'
'How so... Damian I just slept with you in a motel-room'
'No, I slept with you in my temporary residence'
Jane had to smile again. She was doing it a lot in his presence she just realized; or was she still after-glowing?
'Doesn't change the fact that it's still a motel-room'
'No, it doesn't' he said pressing a kiss on her collarbone, 'but mine sounds classier'

Jane enjoyed the caresses and just the nearness of him thinking about how a girl could get used to it, but then it dawned on her; the reason he was in a motel in the first place. He lived in Belladonna Cove and she here in Riverblossom Hills with an entire day's journey between the two.
'Damian... what are we doing?' she whispered.
He knew exactly what she meant and sighed with his head on her stomach. 'Not now Jane… don't ruin what we have right now'
'I know, I don't want to, but…'
A knock on the door interrupted her. Damian stared at the door and motioned for her to be quiet. He wasn't expecting anyone other than her, and she was already in his room. The knock on the door came again and this time, to not sound suspicious, Damian answered. Blocked by the vast door, they heard the muffled voice a man.

'Excuse me, sir, but this is the manager to remind you that check-out is at six. If you stay past that, we'll have to bill you for another day. Have a good day sir'
The man moved away from the door and Damian relaxed. He looked at his watch and then back at Jane who then slipped into the bathroom. It was already 4.30… So much for not ruining the moment… Following her lead, he quickly washed his face and important parts of his body after she came out. Jane sat on the bed, silently watching him throw a few items in his suitcase; mouthwash, toothbrush, deodorant… There was another suitcase in the corner which Jane assumed was Jean's. She got up; picked up her briefcase off the floor and set it down on the bed beside her; placing the neatly folded picture of them inside.

Damian watched her as he buttoned up his shirt. The warm and fuzzy feeling was gone the minute the manager knocked on the door, but just now he noticed it on her face. She was uncomfortable again; fidgeting with her briefcase. He wanted to say something to her, but he didn't know what. Even his witty humor would probably be received poorly.
'Come on, let me take you home'
Jane flashed a smile when they moved out the door, but it didn't reach her eyes. Damian unlocked the car door for her to sit while he put the suitcases in the trunk. She felt her stomach turn with the 'slam-bam, thank you m'am' cold business-like feeling that washed over her as she watched him walk to the front-desk to check out. If she felt dirty just a moment ago…

… now she felt plain cheap.

Damian called his mother from the car saying he was on his way and they arrived just as Jean was saying goodbye. Now that she knew what the prophecy was about she wanted to be close to Rinka at all times. The minute Damian and Jane stepped inside Jean's eyes were on her; expressionless, which made Jane a bit uneasy. After introducing Damian to Rosalie, Jean made the promise to stay in touch and that the next time she visited she'd bring Rinka along.
'I'll see you around Jane' she whispered, hugging her while eyeing her son. They'd need to have a little talk when they were alone.

Jane felt her face turn red when she followed Jean's gaze. Does she know what happened between her and Damian or was she fishing? She was probably fishing…
Damian made a head gesture, wanting her to walk them out. He took her hand the minute they were outside stopping in front of the fence. He waited for his mother to get into the car before turning towards Jane.
'Don't think so hard about this. You'll start forming negative thoughts' She wanted to cut in, but he left her no chance. 'Yes, so our first was in a motel, but it wasn't meaningless Jane… not to me. And I sure won't call it a one-night stand, or one-day stand if you will' she smiled weakly. He caressed her face and pressed a long, but very soft kiss on her lips.

'Give it a chance Jane, don't give up on us before we've even begun'
Jane knew he was right; she was over thinking this, but just going with it was going to be hard. That's not who she is at all…
'I know it's going to be hard. It's you after all'
She quickly looked up at him. 'You read minds now?'
'No, but your face said it all' he kissed the tip of her nose, 'I have to go! I'll call you as soon as I arrive in BC'. 'As soon as you arrive?'
'Immediately after' he smiled one of his charming smiles and took a seat behind the wheel.

… and he did!

Special thanks to Ts3 Pose creator and Story writer Brooke (Mypalsim) for allowing me to use her "Make-Out Pose" (<-- click to see which one). Told you I could use it :)
You can find her Ts3 poses on her site: Mypalsim's Poses for the Sims 3

...and yes, I had written the scene for Jane & Damian, but decided to cut it for various reasons. The chapter works without it as well... I knew I couldn't fool you guys! :)
